HISTORY OF MIKE'S LAWNS
I often get asked about how I got into the world of grass cutting and why did I choose such a cheesy company name.

17 years ago my elderly neighbour broke her leg. As a good neighbour I offered to cut her grass whilst she recovered. After several weeks another elderly neighbour approached me and asked if I could help with his lawn too. I of course accepted and now had 2 lawns plus my own to cut. It snowballed to 5 lawns plus my own. All the neighbours knew each other and I of course was there grass man by now.

The joke was they all then started to refer to their lawns and Mike’s Lawns.
Hence it only seemed right to continue with that. I then left my day job and now happily cut lawns on a daily basis.
